Tack Cleaning Services

All services include
  • Cleaning with glycerin saddle soap.
  • Moisture treatment with:
-Neat’s-foot oil for English seats, pommels and saddle flaps and Western saddle upper surfaces (seat, cantle, skirts, jockeys, fenders)
-Mink oil for Western latigos and leather girths
-Saddle Butter for any leather part that comes in direct contact with the horse, such as stirrup leathers.
-Buffing

Other cleaning and conditioning products are available at your request. We are currently testing cleaners and conditioners that include fungicides.

Note: if you are planning on showing within five days of cleaning, we recommend cleaning with saddle soap only to avoid staining show clothes with oil. Delay moisturizing until later if possible..
